As the Workshop Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, leading a skilled team of Pump Technicians and Mechanical Fitters. Your focus will be on ensuring timely, high-quality maintenance, repair, and assembly of pumping equipment, while upholding safety and operational standards.

About the Role
As the Workshop Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, leading a skilled team of Pump Technicians and Mechanical Fitters. Your focus will be on ensuring timely, high-quality maintenance, repair, and assembly of pumping equipment, while upholding safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise workshop staff to meet performance and production goals.
- Manage workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all work meets quality and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure project requirements and service standards are met.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture.
- Identify training needs and support team development.
- Relevant trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a workshop environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of pumping systems and components.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Customer-focused with strong stakeholder management abilities.
