I am Partnering with an industry leader in the Fleet Management Fabrication space to recruit their new Production Supervisor. This Engineering firm services Tier One clients in the Logistics, Mining, Utilities and Agricultural markets, on a national scale.
As the Production Supervisor you will be the bridge between the Engineering and Workshop Teams by overseeing the day-to-day production schedules of repairs, re-builds and maintenance on the heavy equipment and fleet.
This is a Senior Position which reports directly into the General Manager, you will play an integral role in the continued success of the company.

As the Production Supervisor you will be the bridge between the Engineering and Workshop Teams by overseeing the day-to-day production schedules of repairs, re-builds and maintenance on the heavy equipment and fleet.
This is a Senior Position which reports directly into the General Manager, you will play an integral role in the continued success of the company.
The key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Effectively and efficiently manage production to meet the required daily / weekly / monthly targets in line with customer and statutory specifications, quality requirements and delivery expectations, minimising costs where possible and ensure best working practices are implemented and always maintained.
- Provides regular feedback and reports and maintains interaction with the General Manager and Engineering Manager by leading weekly production planning meetings.
- Collect and input data into production schedules and manage job priority
- Ordering parts proactively and reactively to limit downtime across production.
- Delegate tasks effectively between the team to maximise workshop efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
- Communicate, implement and practice OHS standards across the workshop to promote safe quality working standards.
- 7+ years managing/supervising in a workshop with Heavy fabrication.
- Trade Certificate in Heavy Fabrication
- Experience with OHS protocol/standards
- Ideally a background with chassis and heavy vehicle body building.
- Ability to pass a DNA.
