Austcorp Executive are partnering with a world leading Water Engineering and Hydro-geology equipment manufacturer who provide tailored solutions to the mining & utilities sectors.
As the Business Development and Product Manager you will be responsible for the product development and growth of the dewatering and pumping business. This persons will also be responsible for supporting the external sales, engineering applications, service and spares team and the promotion and generation of profitable sales of the company products.
As the Business Development and Product Manager your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:

As the Business Development and Product Manager you will be responsible for the product development and growth of the dewatering and pumping business. This persons will also be responsible for supporting the external sales, engineering applications, service and spares team and the promotion and generation of profitable sales of the company products.
As the Business Development and Product Manager your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
- Maintain existing Key Accounts along with respective sales engineers
- Business Development of core products including tender submissions
- Work with customers / end users on proposals and design work as required
- Communication with manufacturing team on bore pumping and related inquiries
- Pump selections, including price and submission of detailed quotations
- Training and development of sales and service teams
- Report project status, Win / Loss feedback and target projects
- Engineering background or mechanical trade experience with pumping equipment
- A proven track record managing multiple sales cycles from creation to close
- Previous experience with engineered products with hydraulic or mechanical component (Bore Pump experience preferred)
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Technical Aptitude for solving mechanical problems
- CRM and ERP System experience – tracking sales and delivery cycles
