State Manager
About the Company: A globally respected engineering and manufacturing organisation with a strong presence in the Australian mining and industrial sectors is seeking a passionate and results-driven State Manager to lead operations in Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of a key regional market, driving growth, leading a small team, and building lasting client partnerships within the mining and heavy industry sectors. About the Role: As State Manager – WA, you will report directly to the National Director and lead all sales and operational functions in the state. With a strong focus on business development, technical sales, and client relationship management, you’ll be pivotal in expanding the brand's footprint across WA’s mining and remote regions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a small, high-performing WA-based team focused on sales and technical support Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients across WA Develop and implement state-level sales strategies to achieve branch KPIs and national goals Prospect and secure new business opportunities across the mining and industrial sectors Conduct regular face-to-face client visits across all WA regions, including remote locations Provide technical support including pump selection, application analysis, and troubleshooting Prepare and deliver quotations in line with pricing strategy and client requirements Analyse and interpret pump curves and process flow diagrams to support client needs Skills & Experience Required: Trade qualified (mechanical or electrical) preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in pump sales and marketing Proven background in the submersible pumps or broader pumps and flow equipment industry Established network in the WA mining industry Strong business development, communication, and negotiation skills Leadership ability with a team-focused mindset Comfortable travelling throughout WA, including regular site visits Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms Current Australian driver’s licence required What’s On Offer: Competitive salary package (based on experience) Fully maintained company vehicle or vehicle allowance Phone and laptop provided Work with a globally recognised brand Lead a strategic growth role in a high-demand industry Apply Today If you’re a motivated leader with a passion for pumps, mining, and regional sales, and you're ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
