Head of Service and Repair

Austcorp Executive are exclusively partnering with a leading Australian owned company specialising in the manufacture, service and repair of heavy transport and mobile equipment to recruit a Head of Service and Repair. This position will be part of the Senior Leadership team and provide strategic oversight, operational governance and performance management across multiple sites in Australia. The role is pivotal in developing operational capabilities and positioning the service and repair division for sustainable growth and operational excellence. The company work with leading clients across the mining and transport industries throughout Australia.  This role will be Perth Based with site travel to multiple regional locations.  As the Head of Service and Repair your duties will be but not limited to: Operational Oversee the Service and Repair departments of heavy mobile and transport equipment across multiple sites Develop and implement improved repair and service schedules, procedures and regimes to align all locations Implement standardised quality control processes and customer service standards Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring systems across all locations Manage and update companies electronic maintenance system Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and management of sound employee relations and safety practices Promote a strong safety culture within the organization Standardise system processes and ensure consistent adherence to ERP protocols across all service & repair locations to maintain operational uniformity and data integrity Collaborate with the ERP team to enhance and optimise the ERP system functionality to better support service & repair operations Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and management of sound employee relations and safety practices Business Development Work with Head of Sales and Marketing for tender preparation, submission and management for major maintenance contracts Maintain strategic customer relationships and identify areas for business growth Drive expansion of service offerings through capability assessment and gap analysis Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, suppliers, and potential partners Establish key account management processes for strategic customers including regular reviews and performance monitoring    A bit about you: Relevant Trade Qualification (E.g. HD Mechanic, Vehicle Body Builder, Auto Electrician etc) Proven experience in a Senior Leadership Position in a Maintenance of Service role (Transport, Mining, Agriculture)  Professional Qualification in Leadership and Management (Highly Desirable) Experience managing multiple Service and Maintenance departments/sites for Heavy Mobile and Transport Equipment Strong background in ERP and Operational Management Systems with Data Analysis (Highly Desirable) Strong leadership capabilities with ability to influence and motivate teams across multiple locations Results-driven mindset with focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement Whats in it for you? They are looking for a candidate with proven experience in the security industry that is technically adept with a strong customer focus and enjoys working in a team.
