About the Company: Are you an experienced pump technician who enjoys variety in your work? Do you take pride in delivering top-quality service both on the tools and on the retail floor? We're currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Pump Technician & Retail Sales Support. This is a diverse role involving diagnosing, repairing, and installing pumps and accessories in the workshop, in the field, and supporting customers in-store. If you enjoy hands-on work, are customer-focused, and like being part of a supportive and close-knit team, this could be the perfect fit. About the Role: As a Pump Technician, you will: Diagnose and repair a wide range of pumps, including submersible, diaphragm, multistage, variable speed, and helical rotor types. Perform installations and service work both in the workshop and at customer sites – sometimes supervised, sometimes independently. Maintain a clean, organised workspace and company vehicle. Accurately complete job cards, repair documentation, and stock use records. Order and manage spare parts when required. Support stocktakes and inventory management processes. As a member of the retail team, you will: Provide technical sales advice and product recommendations to customers on the shop floor and over the phone. Notify customers when repairs are completed and ready for collection. Represent the business professionally, upholding a positive customer experience. What We’re Looking For Essential: Minimum 3 years' experience in pump service, installation, and repair. Mechanical qualification or relevant hands-on experience. Current Class 1 driver’s licence. Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge across multiple pump types. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Solid customer service and communication skills. Basic computer skills (POS systems, documentation, email, etc.). Willingness to support the retail counter and customer enquiries as required. Desirable: Restricted Electrical Licence (or willingness to obtain). WHS knowledge including SWMS/JSA documentation. Experience with field service planning and coordination.
