They now seek a seasoned Business Development Manager with a solid background in Food ingredient sales for their Sydney team.

My client is a well know supplier of specialty Raw Materials into the food, pharmaceutical and animal health and various other sectors. They source their ingredients from high end suppliers worldwide, and service manufacturers across Australia & NZ. They now seek a seasoned Business Development Manager with a solid background in Food ingredient sales for their Sydney team.
The Role:
- Responsible for the Management of the existing portfolio, along with developing sales leads and generating new business with in Food Manufacturers. Majority clients are based in NSW. Although this role will cover ANZ
- Establishing recurring relationships with customers through on-site visits.
- Provide extensive technical support for customers to support pre-sales and post-sales processes and address all product-related queries
- Provide product training to enable customers to use products effectively and support launching of new products and product lines
- Working closely with R&D teams to develop new products via customer specifications.
- Ideally 5-10 years previous experience in the Food ingredients space. Must be a strong technical sales professional, with majority of your career spent in a sales role
- Must understand the be B2B Industrial customer. IE: Large Food & beverage Manufacturers And how to navigate a sales process through this channel
- Candidates with previous Supplier/Supplier/Principal management skills will be highly regarded.
- Qualification in Science (Food Science or Nutritional Science)
- Passion and drive to succeed in a commercial sales environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships naturally
- Excellent communication skills
- Career driven with long term goals to move into Management
