Summary
- Oversees the company’s information technology, innovation and computer systems
- Key duties include assessing current processes and platforms, taking fully responsibility to advise the China Management Team of software upgrades and changes to enhance the operations
- To provide Leadership and direction of strategic planning and execution of IT and Systems related objectives
- Ensure compliance and risk management for the country
- Responsible to align to global governance structure whilst customizing for local application
Key Responsibilities &Tasks
- Selecting & Implementing suitable technology to streamline internal operations and help to optimize operations strategic benefits
- Understand business needs, design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience
- Prepare business cases to support changes in the organization (cost benefit analysis)
- Drive business processes and systems harmonization as well as country/global IT service consolidation
- Develop & Coach country-level IT & Systems team in content, soft skills, and digital transformation
- Act as the IT Business Partner in-country and/or taking a leadership role in steering specific IT functions in country
- Establish, maintain, and execute IT & Digital roadmap reflecting country IT and digital needs and opportunities in line with regional and global IT strategy
- Delivery of IT projects for the country in close collaboration with respective customers, business areas, and orchestrating regional/global shared IT services
- Ensure the overall health of IT environments and continued services to support country requirements
- Ensure information as well as cybersecurity and protect entrusted company and customer data at a minimum in line with regulations and company policy
- Any reasonable action requested by management
- Travel to support the business as and when required
- At least a bachelor's degree holder in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum of 15 years of experiences in the IT industry (including personal management of the large-scale project) and minimum 5 years of Leadership experiences
- Excellent leadership management and coaching skills
- Strong Influencing, interpersonal, consultancy, and conflict management skills
- Ability to manage conflicts within the business (perform negotiations and able to come up with effective and timely resolutions)
- Broad IT and Security system and technology knowledge
- Knowledgeable in the Facilities / Environmental Services industry preferred
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
