This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive leader with strong technical skills and a background in FMCG or food production. The successful candidate will be trade-qualified—ideally as a fitter—and confident working closely with production, quality, and R&D teams to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient plant operations. This is a leadership position for someone who enjoys both strategic planning and rolling up their sleeves to get the job done. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support a small site-based maintenance team in a hands-on capacity. Drive preventative maintenance schedules and ensure high-quality, timely execution of engineering work. Collaborate with production, QA, and R&D teams to proactively resolve equipment and process issues. Manage capital installations, including project planning, scoping, procurement, and commissioning. Maintain up-to-date trade training compliance across the team. Contribute to new product development through planning and production trials. Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, GMP, and Australian standards. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Proven experience in FMCG maintenance management. A trade qualification—fitter background preferred.
