The Business:
Currently in search of an established Production Manager for one of Sydney's largest food manufacturing organisations located in Mascot. The business has invested significantly in recent years and can boast one of the most advanced sites with major future potential.
The role will be reporting into the Site manager with the expectation to carry out a number of manufacturing projects. This position is not for an average performer - it offers daily variety and challenges and the scope to make a direct and expected contribution to the company’s performance/production capacity. The role will also be hands on from time to time with production staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will make a difference on a number of projects with your continuous improvement mindset.
- Oversee all the production and hands on management when priorities arise.
- Responsibility for shift operations during production cycles.
- Investigate, analyse, and implement preventative actions for quality and safety incidents or near misses.
- Control raw material inventory and work with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate replenishment with close focus on preforms.
- Prior experience in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment.
- Degree or Trade qualifications, with strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safe Operating Procedures and HACCP principles.
- Strong leadership capability with experience leading a team of trades.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders.
- Above Market Salary depending on the candidate's experience.
